Welcome! Happy March! This is about the time of year that
often separates Hilton Head Island from a lot of the country. With
sunny skies and 60-degree daytime temps, a walk on the beach or a
round of golf sure beats shoveling driveways of freshly-fallen snow.
I suspect that this is one of the primary reasons that makes Hilton
Head Island so attractive to each of us.
Have a great day
today.and happy reading! |

$14
Million Home for Sale Situated on Brams
Point in Spanish Wells with water views on the front and the
back of the property, this 18,000 HSF home is spectacular
inside and out. It is quite simply a magnificent property with
incredible detailing and quality with a three-story floorplan
that includes an indoor roman-spa-styled pool, in-home
theatre, wine cellar, gourmet kitchen, pool-side Carolina
room, 8 bedrooms - the list goes on and on. While $14 Million
is a big ticket, this is one of the most unique properties on
the Island. If it isn't in your budget, spread the word and
let us know if you find someone who might be
interested.
How's
the Market? Moving
swiftly with strong appreciation and tight inventory. Lot
prices are |
 |
| climbing sharply - so let us know if you have considered buying a vacant lot, we
need to act quickly. Villas are on fire - in fact, in Sea
Pines the inventory is down to 20 villas for sale. The 10-year
low-inventory level in Sea Pines is 15, and we might see that
broken here shortly. Interest rates are still attractive to
the point where some folks are still refinancing. Demand is
strong. In all, a pretty strong seller's market at this
point. |
Across the Country In order to
help put our local market into perspective, we have provided
some nationwide real estate news that we hope you will find
interesting. Just click on the USA map to the right to access

Daufuskie Featured on "The
Bachelorette" A Valentine's Day
airing of the popular reality-TV show with bachelorette Jen
Schefft featured a 6-minute segment with Jen and one of her
husband-wanna-be's enjoying a "fantasy getaway" at the
Daufuskie Island Resort and Breathe Spa. Shot on a beautiful
(but cold) day, the segment put Daufuskie in a great light,
and the resort hopes it will boost business as the show helped
reach a wide national audience.

"Wisteria Lane" This now-popular
street name (as featured on "Desperate Housewives") is the
name of a quiet street in Sea Pines' Greenwood Forest
neighborhood. This coincidence prompted a writer for USA Today
to write a feature story on our local Wisteria Lane, including
interviews with various residents along the street which
inferred close similarities to the neighborhood dynamics
portrayed on the popular TV show. December 2004 USA Today, if
you want to check it out. |

The Harbourmaster building at the Palmetto Bay Marina -
with the Cross Island Parkway Bridge in the backdrop. This
surrounding "village" includes residential condominiums,
stores and an anticipated "Tommy Bahama" restaurant, which is
likely to increase tourist activity to this otherwise
somewhat-quiet corner of the Island. |
